Bibliomancy

"When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes"

Domain: Books, language

Paradox: Books are physical containers for concepts. Restraining an idea in one place makes it even easier to spread.

Taboo: Harming a book. or getting rid of one from your library unless replacing it with a superior copy. Charges also cannot be used if a Bibliomancer is farther away from their library than their Soul stat in feet.

Minor charge: Acquire at least $100 worth of books with the same author, genre, or topic. Alternatively, get a book that has been signed by the author. Getting a new copy of the same book only gives a charge if it is superior to the original.

Significant charge: Obtain a rare book worth at least $500.

Major charge: Acquire a one-of-a-kind book such as the Voynich Manuscript or Dead Sea Scrolls.
